Before and After School
Before and After School allows students the opportunities that aren't focused on the traditional work cycle. Children are allowed to freely choose activities for play or engage in any offered enrichment activities.
We offer both before and after school programs which follow the Montessori philosophy. The morning program in the Nido, Toddler, and Primary communities allows children to be free to work with puzzles, blocks, art and other freeform activities, as well as help with the preparation of the classroom. Nido and Toddler children in the afternoon program are engaged in constructive play both in their community room and outside. The Primary children are involved in a variety of enrichment programs in the afternoon.
- Nido classrooms receive enrichment twice a week that includes exploration with light and shadow, books and sensory activities.
- Toddler classrooms receive Spanish enrichment once a week in addition to exploration with open ended materials and outdoor play.
- Primary classrooms receive a variety of enrichment activities including Science, Movement, Spanish and more.
- Elementary students staying for After School have been involved in programs such as Destination Imagination, knitting, drama, chess and much more. We add activities based on student and teacher interest.
Before School begins at 7:30 AM and After School options include a 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM pick up.
