Community

At MAC, education extends beyond the classroom. Parents discover not only a school for their child, but a community of connection, partnership, and shared support.

One of the most powerful parts of our school is the strength of the MAC community and how we show up for one another. We understand the important role a school plays in your family’s life, and we pride ourselves on partnering with families to raise fearless, forward humans. We strive to be a trusted resource in your child’s education and well-being.

We often describe MAC as one big family. We support that sense of connection through our Parent Ambassador program and community-building events like the Fall Festival and our Annual Gala and Silent Auction.

We hope to welcome you to the MAC community!

Parent Committees

Parent Ambassadors

Each classroom at MAC has 2-3 Parent Ambassadors that support building a community among the parents and teachers. Some things Parent Ambassadors oversee are ensuring teachers in their classroom are celebrated on their birthdays, organizing meet-up events with classroom parents at local parks, and helping other parents in the classroom be aware of upcoming events.

Fundraising Committee

Volunteers will help plan, organize, and execute fundraising efforts at MAC throughout the school year. Your work on the team helps ensure that teachers have the best professional development opportunities, the essential materials for innovative learning, and the expansion of MAC.

Events Committee

Volunteers will help plan, organize, and execute school-wide events at MAC throughout the school year. These events are intended to bring MAC families together to build a stronger school community.

Welcoming Committee

As new MAC parents, you receive a lot of information, and it is nice to have someone who has been in their shoes before help walk them through things. Volunteers will work with the Admissions team and partner with new families to welcome them into their first few weeks at MAC as they adjust and get to know our school community.

If you have any questions or feedback, please contact T.J. Layne at tjl@tmaoc.com. Thank you for your unwavering support and for being a vital part of the MAC community!
