Tuition Adjustment

The Tuition Adjustment Program for Primary* - 8th grade students is designed to help families with a demonstrated financial need receive adjusted tuition, making a MAC education accessible to more students. Tuition adjustment amounts will be informed by Clarity, a third-party service often used by independent schools to securely collect and analyze family financial data. For the 2024-25 school year, the total tuition adjustments ranged from 10% - 88% of tuition. The Tuition Assistance Committee anonymously determines adjustment amounts in accordance with Clarity calculated family need, the strategic goals of the school, and the level of demand for available funds.

Families with new students applying to MAC and returning students re-enrolling in MAC’s Primary* - 8th grade program are eligible to apply, there is a $60 application fee. For a quick Reference Guide on how to apply, click here.

*Students must be four-years old by October 1st to be eligible.

Key Dates:

January 6, 2026: Clarity Tuition Adjustment application opens

February 6, 2026:  Primary-8th application deadline

February 11, 2026:  All Primary-8th application materials due (transcripts, letters, etc.)

February 11, 2026:  Clarity Tuition Adjustment application deadline

February 20, 2026:  6th-8th grade families notified of admission decision, as well as notification of Middle School Merit Scholarship and Tuition Assistance awards

February 27, 2026: Primary - 5th grade families notified of admission decision, as well as notification of MAC Tuition Assistance awards
