Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle Admissions Process

Inquire about our school. You can fill out this form to provide basic information on your child and the timing you are considering and to schedule a tour.

Come visit us! After you inquire, we will reach out to schedule a personal tour which can be done in-person or virtually. During your tour, you will discover our history, explore our campus, and see our students and teachers in action. You will also hear about our academic programming.

Once applicant materials are collected and the Student Visit Day has taken place, the admissions committee will review the candidate and assess whether we can successfully meet the student's needs. Enrollment offers are made based on program availability and fit. MAC follows the Association of Colorado Independent Schools notification timelines. 

This day is intended to mirror the daily experience of a student as well as create connections between peers and teachers. During this day, students will be assessed in literacy, math, and organizational skills. Prospective student days are a 1/2 day for Lower Elementary (1st-3rd grades) or full day for Upper Elementary (4th-6th) and Middle School (7th-8th).

MAC Admissions Deadlines

• Friday, 2/6/2026: K-8 applications due
• Wednesday, 2/11/2026: All K-8 applicant materials collected/visits completed

1. Completed application
2. Complete the family essay
3. Two academic transcripts: one from current year and one from previous
4. IEP/academic support plan
5. Two letters of recommendation: one from a current teacher and one from a current or prior teacher
6. Student interview, writing, and math assessment

Admissions Decisions Released

• Friday, 2/20/2026: Middle School (6-8th grade)
• Friday, 2/27/2026: Lower School (preschool-5th grade)

Upon receiving your completed application (one per child, please), the admissions team will evaluate the application based on program needs, the balance of ages of children in the classroom, and the services MAC provides to meet the needs of your child. Once applicant materials are collected, the admissions committee will review the candidate. Enrollment offers are made based on program availability and fit. MAC follows the Association of Colorado Independent Schools notification timelines.
