Our Upper Elementary students had an incredible adventure at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park. From navigating the outdoor low ropes course and playing outdoor games to practicing survival skills, the students embraced every challenge with enthusiasm.
They had a blast working together as a team to construct shelters, and then pushed themselves further with rock climbing and archery. The trip was the perfect combination of fun, teamwork, and skill-building in the great outdoors! In a Montessori education, trips like these are essential extensions of the classroom, giving students opportunities to apply their learning in real-world settings while developing independence, collaboration, and confidence.
