In Upper Elementary, students have been showing an interest in architecture. They visited an architectural firm last week, Hord Coplan, and then invited the firm to visit MAC. Two architects visited Upper Elementary this week to talk about structural design and the engineering of buildings. They then had a bridge building competition with marshmallows and toothpicks to learn about structural stability!
