Middle School Students Visit Toddler Classrooms
Jennine Friess
Middle School students have been visiting the Toddler Community to read to and spend time with the students during the morning work cycle. The toddlers love seeing them in the classroom and there is an exciting energy when they visit.
The older students provide guidance and support while learning from the younger students. Younger students often bring fresh perspectives, creativity, and enthusiasm, which can be inspiring and invigorating for older students. The younger students enjoy seeing new people in their classroom and learning from them, especially when these visitors can talk about how they used to be toddlers in their same classroom! These fun visits reinforce learning for both groups!
