Middle School Students Host an Evolution Exhibition
Jennine Friess

Our 7th and 8th graders hosted their first ACT (Aspire-Create-Transform) of the year, the week before break, showcasing an impressive culmination of meaningful research and purposeful learning.

Students explored the concept of evolution through a wide range of topics, from human evolution to the evolution of fashion and even the evolution of birds. Their work required gathering reliable sources, synthesizing information, and preparing clear, thoughtful explanations. To share their learning, students curated an exhibition and invited families and community members to participate in hands-on activities from the unit. Several students also presented their findings to the audience, demonstrating confidence, curiosity, and strong communication skills. It was an evening that celebrated student voice, critical thinking, and the joy of learning. We are proud of their hard work!
