MAC Middle School Workshops of Learning

For their first, ACT 1, students held workshops on various topics related to their Universe of Obligation work. They chose their own social justice topics, which included reproductive rights, authoritarianism, gerrymandering, and media bubbles. These students have worked incredibly hard on their presentations over the past several weeks, preparing to present to a group of peers and adults engaging in challenging and thoughtful conversations. Presentations like this help build a student's confidence and strengthens critical thinking and facilitation skills.
