Our Integrated Kindergartners have an additional specials class every Wednesday called Brave Behaviors Club, where they meet as an entire cohort. The class focuses on social-emotional learning and leadership.
Through stories, discussion, and shared reflection, students break down abstract ideas and discuss and explore ethical impressions, humanities, compassion, bits of history, and geography with a heavy focus on the children’s social-emotional development. Brave Behaviors Club creates space for students to practice being thoughtful, ask questions, and learn to be respectful leaders within their classroom community.
