Experiential Learning

Today our 6th graders are headed to Washington, D.C. and our Middle School students woke up in Rome! Students begin experiential learning at MAC in Nido. Nido babies go out on a walk in the neighborhood every day allowing for outdoor exposure, sensory experiences, and natural exploration. In Montessori education, the journey of learning is intricately connected with the exploration of the environment, beginning from infancy to the transformative years of middle school. Montessori emphasizes the importance of interactions with the world as a fundamental component of learning and development. This approach not only enhances MAC's students' academic learning and global thinking but also cultivates a profound respect for nature and diverse cultures.
