Elementary End of Year Trips

Our Lower and Upper Elementary students went on their end of year trip last week. Lower Elementary went to the Cal-Wood Educational Center where they were immersed in outdoor learning. This was a trip of a lifetime for these students! Our Upper Elementary students took a road trip to Taos. On the way there they stopped at the Great Sand Dunes, went rafting on the Quartzite River and visited with a resident of the Earthship Biotecture community in Taos. Many of the students were transformed by this experience and are considering building one someday. These end of year trips mark the capstone experience at the end of each school year in our Elementary communities where students explore their independence and practice their resilience. We are so proud of all of their accomplishments!
