Annual Mystery History Event

Annual Mystery History Event
Jennine Friess

Every October, we hold our annual Mystery History event for Upper School students, giving them the opportunity to showcase their in-depth knowledge of a historical figure they had researched.

After weeks of gathering information, analyzing sources, and crafting either a research paper or an “I Am” identity poem, students presented their findings in a fun and interactive way. Each student shared three intriguing facts about their chosen figure, selected to both inform and challenge the audience. Peers, teachers, and family members were then invited to guess the identity of each mystery person. This engaging event enhances students’ research and analytical abilities, written and oral communication skills, and critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
