The Montessori Academy of Colorado now celebrates more than 20 years of nurturing the potential of each of our students. Our school consists of early childhood and preschool education programs (Nido, Toddler and Primary) to Kindergarten, an Elementary School, and a Middle School. Our students recently lit up the stage with two unforgettable performances of Shrek the Musical Jr., featuring not one, but two amazing casts giving multiple students a chance to play a lead role.

Toddlers Learn the Butterfly Lifecycle

Last week, one of our Toddler classrooms released their butterflies! Weeks before this exciting moment, the children received a lesson on the lifecycle of a butterfly—learning about each stage of transformation from egg to caterpillar, to chrysalis, and finally to butterfly.

6th Grade Capstone Trip

MAC’s 6th graders spent a full week in Washington, D.C., exploring history, government, art, and culture in some of the nation's most iconic spaces. Throughout the trip, they visited the World War II Monument, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.

Care for the Shared Environment

In a Montessori classroom, Practical Life activities like sweeping the floor, wiping tables, and tidying shelves are thoughtfully designed to nurture independence, coordination, and care for the shared environment.
