Imagine Your Child at Montessori Academy of Colorado

The Montessori Academy of Colorado now celebrates more than 20 years of nurturing the potential of each of our students. Our school consists of early childhood and preschool education programs (Nido, Toddler and Primary) to Kindergarten, an Elementary School, and a Middle School. MAC students gain important skills like critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and global awareness. These skills will help them succeed as future innovators and global citizens. Students leave MAC curious, independent, authentic, kind and resilient.

middle school students during a Model UN practice session

Last week, our middle schoolers held their first Model-UN Human Rights Committee. Modeled after the United Nations, MAC-UN is a student-led simulation where learners step into the role of global delegates.

Movement at MAC

Our movement teacher, Devann, has done an incredible job this year engaging Upper School students in dynamic and skill-building units, including gymnastics, flag football, and soccer. Most recently, she has invited students to take the lead by designing and teaching units rooted in their own areas of expertise.
