The Montessori Academy of Colorado now celebrates more than 20 years of nurturing the potential of each of our students. Our school consists of early childhood and preschool education programs (Nido, Toddler and Primary) to Kindergarten, an Elementary School, and a Middle School. MAC students gain important skills like critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and global awareness. These skills will help them succeed as future innovators and global citizens. Students leave MAC curious, independent, authentic, kind and resilient.

Our 7th and 8th graders hosted their first ACT (Aspire-Create-Transform) of the year, the week before break, showcasing an impressive culmination of meaningful research and purposeful learning.

One of our Primary classrooms prepared a special feast last Friday, working together to chop vegetables, make sandwiches, soup, and fruit punch to create a beautiful meal to share.

In our Primary classrooms, the long bead chain is a favorite “big work” that beautifully illustrates a child’s growing sense of independence, concentration, and joy in learning.

Every October, we hold our annual Mystery History event for Upper School students, giving them the opportunity to showcase their in-depth knowledge of a historical figure they had researched.
