Our movement teacher, Devann, has done an incredible job this year engaging Upper School students in dynamic and skill-building units, including gymnastics, flag football, and soccer. Most recently, she has invited students to take the lead by designing and teaching units rooted in their own areas of expertise.

In our Primary program, engagement and collaboration are reflected in the academic work children do each day as they explore concepts together using concrete Montessori materials.

Geography comes alive in Primary classrooms through hands-on exploration, and one of the most impactful materials students use is the Montessori maps. These puzzle-style maps allow children to physically build their understanding of the world.

In our Nido classrooms, learning to walk is supported through a carefully prepared environment that honors each baby’s natural drive toward movement and independence. Rather than teaching walking directly, we provide safe, purposeful materials that allow babies to practice at their own pace.

Our Integrated Kindergartners have an additional specials class every Wednesday called Brave Behaviors Club, where they meet as an entire cohort. The class focuses on social-emotional learning and leadership.
