I have been at MAC since June 2012. I first started as the Nido Extended Day Coordinator, and I am currently the Lead Directress in Nido 3. I just earned my bachelor's degree in Human Development from The Metropolitan State College of Denver; I am earning my Montessori 0-3 Infant to Toddler training. Being a teacher is such a rewarding, humbling, challenging, and life-changing experience. It's not for everyone, but it is for me; it always has been and always will be.
I enjoy spending lots of time with my family; my 3-year-old son is in a Primary classroom here and loves attending MAC. I love being outside; I love to mountain bike, snowboard, rock climb, exercise, go to Rapids games, hike and camp. I would love to travel the world one day. I am inspired by children, their passion for life, the curiosity they hold on to, and the truths they share.
