Staff

The professional staff at the Montessori Academy of Colorado (MAC) are dedicated and committed to the children and to education. The teachers and administration work together in developing classroom curriculum, specials programming, and our summer programs. All lead teachers are expected to be Montessori certified. Additionally, MAC employs teachers with specialized backgrounds to lead our specials programs. Many of our staff members hold undergraduate degrees in a variety of subjects including education, music education, African studies and other liberal art degrees. Our staff are professionals and as such, the school is committed to providing them with a strong benefits package including health benefits and paid time off. Our staff is committed to education and rewarded for their continuing education. Over the past three years, MAC has assisted more than seven staff members in furthering their certifications. Additionally, the children of staff members are eligible for scholarships towards their monthly tuition.
